Back in December we announced an exciting development at Arcbazar, which, we believe, will make the experience of crowdsourcing architectural designs through our platform all the more rewarding - integration of VR technologies and a sustainability score in the competition process. These developments are made possible thanks to our partnership (and long-term friendship) with the brilliant minds at Forum8, a Japanese company that produces state-of-the art Interactive 3D Virtual Reality simulation software.

We regularly catch up with the designers and architects in our network, learning about their background, architectural aesthetic and their experience on our platform. As part of our series, we had a chance to catch up with Kazumichi 'Kazu' Umezawa, a Japanese architect who currently resides in Shanghai.
Arcbazar is a community of thousands of designers in every corner of the world. We are proud of the diversity of our network - different countries, languages, gender and levels of experience. A couple of weeks ago we did the European edition of our top designers - determined through an algorithm that takes into consideration numerous factors, including the number of competitions a designer took part in, the number of wins, etc. Today we'd like to introduce you to our top 10 designers in North and South Americas.
We often interview home owners, advisors and architects on our platform. Through these interactions we have virtually traveled to New Zealand, Bulgaria, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland and numerous other places. It never fails to amaze us how global our platform is. Every now and then, however, we get the pleasure of meeting various members of our network in person, as it happened last month in Tokyo, Japan, where Imdat As, the CEO and Founder of Arcbazar, presented new and upcoming digital features for sourcing architectural design, at the 10th Annual Forum8 Design Festival. That's where we met a design power house from Romania - two up-and-coming architects Vlad Andrei Popa and Ioan Ralea-Toma. Their submission in the Obama Presidential Library competition earlier this year caught the attention of many, including Forum8, who invited them to attend the event.
